Q)
How long will it take to register my domain name?
A) We will process your domain registration order within 24
hours, provided the registration form is filled out correctly. A
confirmation email, which contains your domain password, will be sent to
you once your domain is registered successfully. As soon as you received
a confirmation email from us, your domain is officially registered.
However, the activation of your domain name will take up to 72 hours.
This is to allow your domain's information to be propagated in all
the DNS servers globally.
Q)
What do I get with my domain name registration?
A) Click
here to see the list of services you will receive when you register
a domain name with us. Please note that we reserve the right to withdraw
or change the list of free services we provide currently.
Q)
Once my domain name is registered, can anyone else take it?
A)
As long as your domain is registered to your name, all the required fees
are paid and it's not in breach of any law, trademark or copyright,
nobody else can either use it or take it without your consent. As an
added security measure, your domain will be automatically locked so that
it cannot be transferred to another person or registrar without
identification documents from you. It will be unlocked only when you
choose to use your own DNS servers or requested by you.
Q)
I have registered my domain name successfully but why does it still
appear to be available in a Whois search?
A) All recently registered domain names (within last 48 hours) will
still shown as available in a Whois search. This is normal. It can take
up to 72 hours for some domain names to be updated in the Whois server.
If you've received a confirmation from us, you can be sure that it's
registered and nobody else can register it again.
Q)
I just registered my domain but where do I get the password to access
it?
A) If you have just registered your domain from our website, then
wait for our confirmation email. We will process your order within 24
hours and send you the confirmation email when your domain is registered
successfully. Your domain password as well as information to access your
domain will be contained in this email. Please contact us only if you do
not receive the confirmation email after 48 hours. In most cases, you
have probably mistyped your email address during registration or there's
something wrong with your mail server.
Q)
Can I cancel a registration after submitting the order form?
A) Sorry,
no. Once the registration process has been initiated it can't be
canceled, so choose your domain carefully. Please remember to
double-check and verify that you have typed in your domain name
correctly in the order form.
Q)
Is there any other hidden fee or charges for my domain registration
order?
A) No. The amount you are paying as specified on the order form
is all you need to pay for your domain name. There is no other hidden
fees or charges. We do not charge you for all the free services we
provide you currently as well. We will inform you for services that
require additional fee when necessary.
Q)
Do I need to register all three domain name extensions: .com, .net and
.org?
A) You
will realize that the expense for domain name registration and support
is minor compared to the marketing expense to promote and establish your
domain name in the marketplace. The last thing you want to happen is to
have someone else (your competitor in most cases) benefit from your
efforts in establishing your name. You will see competitors registering
names close to yours, trying to benefit from typo mistakes your visitors
may make. For example, someone tried registering yahho.com in order to
piggyback on the popular yahoo.com. We strongly recommend that you
register all 3 domain extensions for your business, service or products.
Q)
How many year should I register my domain name for?
A) Although you can register your domain name for a minimum of 1
year, we would recommend that you register it for a longer period than
that. Thousands of individuals, companies and organizations are losing
their domain names due to reasons such as outdated contact information,
missed renewal payments, hijacking, employee sabotage, and even computer
or clerical errors. This resulted in web sites and e-mail being
disrupted for weeks. If your domain name is important to you or you want
to avoid any inconvenience of losing your domain, register it for as
long as you can afford.
Q)
Do I have to provide all the information requested on the registration
page?
A) Yes, we require your personal information in order to verify
your identity before we can process your order. These information will
also be displayed in the Whois search for your domain. If you wish to
keep some parts of your information as private, you may edit and update
the contact information when you receive the password to access your
domain. However, you should provide at least a valid name and email
address for the admin contact information. In this way, you are still
contactable should there be any problem arises with your domain name.
You should also update your email address whenever there's any changes
so that we are able send you reminder for your domain renewal.
Q)
Does the price that I pay includes web hosting on your server?
A) No. We do not provide web hosting service for your domain. You
will need to find your own web hosting company to host your web pages.
